For over 38 years, Purple Iris has been family-owned and operated right here at 2505 Route 88 in Point Pleasant. To me, this isn't just a business—it’s my passion, my craft, and a deeply rooted part of the community I am proud to call home.

As a resident of Point Pleasant, I don’t just serve this town; I live here, raise my family here, and see our wonderful customers at the local grocery store and community events.

A 25-Year-Old’s Dream Come True

My journey with Purple Iris Shop began nearly two decades ago when I was just a young girl with a big dream and a heart full of passion for floral design. At just 25 years old, I took a leap of faith and bought the flower shop. Back then, I knew I wanted to create a space where beauty, creativity, and community intersected, but I could have never imagined just how much this shop—and this town—would shape my life.

Juggling Petals, Teenagers, & Gratitude

Behind every beautiful arrangement is a lot of love, dedication, and a healthy dose of everyday chaos! In addition to being a woman business owner, I am a single mom to three amazing teenage boys. Juggling the demands of a thriving, fast-paced flower shop while keeping up with three teenagers means life is always moving—but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Most importantly, it is thanks to the incredible support of this community and my team of incredible hardworking employees that I have been able to run this business successfully while raising my boys. This town doesn't just support a retail store; you support a mother, a neighbor, and a family. Every milestone my boys have achieved and every success this shop has celebrated was made possible because Point Pleasant chose to shop local. The resilience, energy, and heart it takes to run my household are the exact same qualities I pour into every single floral design that leaves my shop.
